Ong Hueih Ling, 2002, 5Sc1 有想过在台湾留学吗? 相信在我们当中有蛮多人都被台湾的精彩和发达的娱乐圈以及旺盛的强档台剧所吸引,但大家有否知道台湾的医学水平是蛮高和符合国际标准的。那有兴趣深造医科而家庭经济环境有限的朋友要注意了,要达成愿望并不是那么的艰难,在这里让我分享一下我的心德吧。 台湾的医学系要念七年,大部份80%都用英文、学费便宜:一学期学费约RM7500(私立),RM4000(国立),生活费就看自己咯(我每个月约RM500)。台湾的教育水平还蛮高的、医疗水平更高,在这里学习会让你学习到不单是课程以内的学问,还可以体会到生存之道。 虽然说,台湾的医学文凭不受大马认同,老实说,很少人会回大马服务,原因在于这里薪水高(fresh grad 月薪约RM10000)、待遇公平(没有排外)、生活水平高。 很多大马人在台湾都很杰出的。 对于如何申请台湾大学,你可以透过留台同学会或直接向某大学申请名额。透过留台的话,你的身份就叫侨生;直接申请的话,就叫外籍生。两种身份缴一样的学费(也跟当地的台湾人缴的一样)。 对于奖学金的部份,一般来说侨生的优待比外籍生多,可是还要看各间大学(有可能外籍生较好),所以,你要自己打听或上网查询该 大学的奖学金。慈济大学的话,外籍生可得到学杂费全免;侨生却没有,顶多一个学期NT5000,还要跟全国的侨生抢,机会不多。像我就拿了慈济基金会提供 的奖学金,学杂费全免,每个月还给NT5000的生活费,重点是:你的成绩要保持总平均75以上,而且毕业后还要跟他们服务, 可是还好,薪水不错,保证有工作。   Click here to read about my journey. My Journey 在中五 的时候,我已经对牙科深感兴趣,也一直朝着这个方向前进。很快的,中五SPM就考完了,成绩还算可以,9A1B。 想到成绩还可以,就申请了好几家私立大学如 University Tenaga Nasional, University Petronas,一些College,心里想说假如得到奖学金就选工程系,没得逞的话就乖乖念中六。 结果什么都没得到,就念中六bio class去了。 F6 的生活还蛮枯燥的,压力很大、每天一直念、一直念,完全没有生活。很幸运的,STPM的成绩还算中上,3A1A-,还以为可以拿到牙科,结果拿到第五选 项:UPM Biotech,更好笑的是,我既然拿到JPA奖学金。我念了一下,看不到自己的前途,结果就溜了。同时我也申请了NUS,拿到了Life science; Hong Kong University 牙科却拿不到。 到后来,我又等了一年,想说用一年的时间多申请几间大学,多给自己一些机会。在这一年里,我完全迷失方向,不吃饭、不爱洗澡、不敢出门,怕遇到别人、过着似地狱的生活。看着全部人都在进步,自己的成绩明明不错却一无所成,
