We help students in 3 ways
We hold an event every year (around August) at AMC. Here, we connect with students, share our journeys as well as what we do in our professions. Check out “Connecting Lives, Building Futures 2011″ to see what we did last year!
The website is our treasure chest of information. All year round, we post
- Alumni profiles and Alumni Q&A’s.
- While the profiles typically describe personal journeys, some alumni use these profiles to share general information about what they do in their professions.
- The alumni Q&A’s provide more specific information related to professions or courses. They are normally responses to questions posed by students on the FB forum.
Together, both types of posts attempt to allow alumni to share candid information about their professions, thus providing students with “insider views” of different industries.
- Educational resources. We try our best to post links to scholarships, interesting courses / programs that may interest F5-ers.
- Good stuff. Articles, documentaries, movies, links to websites… all sorts of information that may help students figure out what they can do with their lives.
Students can ask any question they want here. We do our best to answer them. {link to FB forum}
